Remove Deceased Spouse


Best Practices for Deceased Spouse

You will first select Supervisor > Remove Spouse.

Then, to keep all the activity with the remaining/living spouse:

  1. Go to Customer > Find, pull up the living spouse.
  2. Select Supervisor > Merge Customer.
  3. Select the spouse who passed away that is now unlinked.
  4. Copy over any address or contact information which you may still need.
    NOTE:  When merging the customers after you have separated them, the sales activity will be moved to the living spouse.

This will mark the deceased spouse as INACTIVE in the system, but keep all records will the living.
