Q: Why does the total of my repair or custom job show higher than my task prices?
A: This is because the job is marked as an EXPRESS Service.
There is a System Option to automatically add a percentage to the labor charge due to the express service.
To verify your settings:
- Navigate to Administrative > System options > Repair Options.
- Locate the two options for express service:
There will be Repair Express Service Labor Charge (affects labor cost) and Repair Express Service Markup
Both of these will be a percentage which will automatically mark the job at a higher price to the customer.
