Consignment and Memo Items
Consignment and memo items are identified by the stock type field on the item's General tab. Both types of item are similar in that they are liabilities while in your possession and will generate a payment due after being sold. They differ in that memo items are owned by a vendor and consignment items are owned by a customer. The articles in this section cover best practices for working with Consignment and Memo items.
