Custom Jobs Overview

The Custom Jobs feature allows you to track custom work for a customer. This can include modifying an existing item or creating a new piece. Custom Jobs shares much of its functionality with the Repair feature.

A custom job typically consists of:

  • Initial intake at POS
  • Completion of work in the back office
  • Final pick up at POS

In the interim between intake and pick up, payments can be made against any outstanding balance. By default, the custom job will not be available for pick up until all tasks have been marked as done. Upon pick up, any outstanding balance will be due.
